Socialization is a term that is most often associated with foals and young horses, that is, with learning the basic rules of behavior in coexistence with humans. This can be everything from putting on the halter, leading, lunging, brushing and giving legs to teaching the horse how to wait for food politely, go for walks with you, build self-confidence, learn to separate from the herd... As with horse riding, our mission is to socialize the young horse in a way that fosters understanding and communication between the two species and provides a basis for trust and cooperation with humans.
